Don't you love it when you can really surprise someone?
The other day I arranged for Molly's good friend, Emma, to spend the night without her knowing! Emma used to live by us but moved away about a year ago. Her and Molly have remained in contact through email and letters and she continues to be a very important person in Molly's life. Emma's family came back for a visit and we got to host her overnight!
I had Emma with me and was picking up Reid from band - I called Molly, who was at home, and told her I had a surprise for her. When I brought Emma into our home, Molly screamed with excitement! I thought she was going to cry! She was so thrilled to see her good friend. They ended up calling a couple other gal pals and they all had a fun sleepover, catching up with each other...staying up until 3:30 a.m. chatting away, watching American Idol (on tape), talking about future hopes and dreams...
Gotcha' Molly!

I LOVE that story!
Reminds me of my teenage days!
It is so important to stay in touch with our gal pals as teenagers, and hopefully over the years, have a lifelong friends.
Loved the pics too.
How fun for Molly to be able to spend time with her friend. What a fun suprise! The girls all look so happy in the pictures. :)
