We enjoyed dinner together last night - everyone had several things they liked and would eat - a miracle in itself! Of course, Reid, along with I think all the boys, added ketchup to their chicken - what is it with ketchup and kids? The little boys commented that they thought the dishes were pretty - I guess I've raised them right if they recognize the plates are different than usual.
Since it was Valentine day it was appropriate for each of the kids to give me a big hug right!?! Well the little boys were all for it and even Austin was a good sport but the problem child - Molly! Here I am in this totally unflattering photo of me sitting on her lap, us both laughing, as I'm trying to get her to give me a real hug! Ah - the moments of real life...
Each Valentines day I give the kids a small treat. This year I gave them a lds movie called Last Chance, their own small bag of candy, and one of these cute pillowcases so each night they will know how much they are loved.
We had a fun night together.
