Enchanted Evening Prom

The Enchanted Evening Prom turned out to be a big success! We received a lot of positive feedback from the youth that it was a wonderful evening and that they all enjoyed themselves!
The venue turned out to be a perfect location. We took an ordinary neighborhood meeting room and transformed it into an beautiful prom!
There were so many individuals that volunteered their time for the prom to be a success. We had a disc jockey and professional photographer both donate their time as well as a couple in the ward that decorates weddings professionally. Men and women came together to decorate and tear down for the event. Committees of women made and purchased lots of delicious food. Prizes were bought and donated so that drawings for the gifts could happen throughout the evening.
James and I even got to dance! I don't have many pictures of the youth because we wanted this to be their night so although we were close by the adults tried to stay in the shadows.
