Father

This week has gone by so fast - I can't believe it is already Wednesday evening! We had a nice relaxing Father's Day on Sunday. James was able to attend our own ward and sit with us and help Ryan out during primary. After church we hosted our friend, Cassie, for dinner. We had a nice relaxing evening with good conversation. At the end of the evening James opened his presents from all of us - the kids made him cards and we all gave him some simple gifts: three shirts, some chocolates and a CD of a book from the church bookstore.

Here is a photo of the 'good works' handout we gave out on Sunday. The assigned color is yellow. I loved the smiles as it really represents that when we are actively doing good works we are truly happy. I made a simple yellow card for each girl and wrote in it different acts of good works that I had witnessed them performing such as always offering to pass out hymnbooks, stack chairs, empty garbage, help a adult leader, fellowship another, etc. I really enjoyed writing to each of the girls.
I hope everyone is having a happy week!
