This is the layout we did at the last stamp group - It was so fun to make. I am excited to add my favorite zoo pictures of the kids.

I have had this wood for YEARS! Yes, I admit it is somewhat ugly, this scrawny tree... I had it cut out years ago for a childs growth chart. It has actually made three moves with us! I finally pulled it out of the garage and gave it a quick paint job.

The thing is this: the kids have had a BLAST standing up next to it, measuring themselves and each other. It has been so fun! Growing up my parents recorded our growth on a small section of a wall in our kitchen which worked out great because we never moved, but I realize that we will move so I wanted something that I could take with us. This seems to be the answer.

Reid just brought this home, he made it in art class at school. I grew up living on a lake and we had lots of lillypads. Truthfully back then it was a battle to keep them in control and all the residents on the lake had to work together so they wouldn't take over the water. Regardless, I now find so much beauty in them.

Chase just got to bring his fish home. It was on display at Vail Pride Day. I love the colors he used.
Simple little projects that bring us joy.

I like your growth tree!
My parents used to measure us on the inside of the pantry door because we never moved and I was recently thinking what I could use since we move alot and this is a great idea
I love the growth tree too! I was just thinking about that the other day, trying to figure out where I could do it. Thanks for the cute idea!
Love the growth tree! I think it is a wonderful idea to have a tree that you can take with you thru the years. It looks like your boys are taking after their Mom. They both are great artists. Lilypads for some reason always make me smile. Have a happy Monday! :)
