I bought James tickets for Christmas to see a live taping of the popular radio show Prairie Home Companion. Saturday was the day! It was a fantastic show. Garrison Keillor is hilarious and I was blown away by the voice talent of Andra Suchy. I could have listened to her sing all night. I loved all the stories and jokes they referenced towards Tucson. A great date!

That sounds Great!!
Glad to hear of Fun times!
I am hoping the show at theaters tomorrow will be just as great. I have been a fan for more than 20 years. It is supposed to be just as though you were in the theater in Minneapolis. Thanks for the heads up. I am so glad you enjoyed the show.

I have never heard of that. Is it a radio show that broadcasts in Tucson? Sounds like great fun!
Prairie Home Companion is a 35 year old radio program that is broadcast all across the U.S. - probably even more? It remains true to the old style of radio programs - sounds affects done live and by an actual person, comedy skits, advertising, singing..all live. check out prairiehome.org
It's 10:30 and I just returned from going to the theatre. I did get to see a show much the way you saw it in Tucson. Garrison even read notes from people going into each theatre around the country. I am not sure what this was however, it did seem like the show was being recorded for possibly this Saturday's broadcast but nothing was said. I got the feeling it had been recorded possibly two hours before we got to the theatre but I am anxious to listen on Saturday to see if it had been this week's program. Our theatre was not full and I seemed to be the only one clapping after each performance but you may already know I am one of a kind. Sorry about the triplicate in last nights notes but I was not able to exit and it took a little bit to figure out I was reposting my note.
