Today, for some reason, has been such a nice day. It has been nothing extraordinary, but very peaceful and well, nice. I volunteered at the school this morning and got the shopping done at the grocery store. Tonight I'm hosting book group at our home. (Isn't that a great reason to pick up some fresh simple flowers?) It isn't really a 'book' group as we are discussing articles from the May Ensign, April's general conference messages. We're gearing up for October conference. I'm really looking forward to good conversation. I made the above cookies to serve tonight as well as some brownies that I promised to make for Ryan. Next I'll cut up some watermelon, cantaloupe and pineapple for a fruit salad to serve as well. I hope you can join us!

what a great idea for a "book group". I wish our ward would do that. Do you still want to do a "giant journaling" group? Maybe we could start one in January- w/ the new year?? Then we could talk to others who might be interested. Let me know. :) Hope this was a fun night! miss you!
